 Hi In this week's assignment, we were required to rewrite a blog and use the articles or the feedback given to us as a guide to improve our work and make it up to a better standard. When re-writing a blog I didn't receive any feedback this week so to complete this task I had to use the articles provided to complete this assignment. While reading these articles I found them very helpful and can apply these tips to my future blogs and any writing that I might do in the future. One of the articles that I read was called ‘Active versus passive voice. From reading this article I feel I have learned a lot. At the very beginning of this article, I read that an active voice is used for most non-scientific writing. Using an active voice for the majority of your sentences makes your meaning clear for readers, and keeps the sentences from becoming too complicated or wordy.  Hi  This week for our project task we are required to write a blog post on the progress of our group projects.  In my opinion, although it has been moving quite slowly, the work that has been done is going well and we are trying our best to make our topic understood well and up to a good standard. We hope to speed up our work process as we need to stay on track and get this project video completed and uploaded on time. Each member in my group is still finalizing our scripts and editing them to make the most sense and also in the hope that others will be able to make sense of these scripts.  Hi In this week's video task we were required to watch different videos about media representation and why it is important. We were also required to write a blog post on our opinions on some of the ideas that were discussed in these videos. The first video I watched was ‘Why Representation Matters’ which in my opinion is a very good question because I feel not many people like myself would know why exactly media representation matters. From this video, I gathered that the reason that media representation matters is because it is a way that allows people to see themselves and also because there are many cultures and people that need to be represented.
