Looking back

 Hi for this final assessment we were required to look back over all our blog posts and reflect on how we feel about the project overall. 

Personally, I found this project interesting, and I enjoyed all aspects of it the research, the writing of the script, the voice recordings, and the video editing as I gained a lot of understanding on how a video is made before publishing and I also got a better insight in to how much effort is put into making a video. Many people thing that video making and editing is easy but when effort is put in to make it good there is a lot more to it than what meets the eye. 

One thing that I found was the most difficult part of this project for myself was the trying to scale my script down to make sure there was enough information in what small amount of time I had within the video but also not going too into detail due to the lack of time. For me this was a way of learning how to draft a piece of writing and how to then go over and edit that piece to make it shorter and more understandable for the audience. 

Are you proud? 

Yes, I am proud of how this project turned out, at the beginning of this project we were off to a slow start but as we continued, we began to get back on track and managed to have it completed and up to standards on time. We managed to get everything that was asked of us done and done correctly.

 

Do you feel it could be better? 

I do not think that the project itself could have been much better as the limited time makes it hard to improve the content within the video. If there was no time limit but there was a minimum time put on this video project, I feel it would have been much more beneficial to the video and would have given the group members slight bit more freedom to give more detailed descriptions about their chosen topics. 

Is it how you imagined it when you began? 

No, it is not how I imagined it at the beginning I pictured it being a lot harder than what it was. Although there was little communication the final piece was very well put together and we all put in a great amount of effort and the result was of a great standard. 

Overall, I feel the video was well presented and correctly educated the audience about the topic of YouTube, Podcasts and Para social media. I feel I learned a lot while creating this video and can put a lot of what I learned into future group projects etc.
